Action Plan to promote Business Service Centers in Slovakia

In 2016, the Government of the Slovak Republic adopted, 'Institutional Strategy for Business Service Centres' (BSC), which sets measures to facilitate the activities of BSCs and strengthen the position of Slovakia
as preferred destination for this type of investments.
 
The basis for the Strategy is cooperation of ministerial and governmental bodies and state agencies. On top of that, the Action Plan was prepared in cooperation with representatives of BSCs in Slovakia, which actively proposed specific measures reflecting required improvements for the sector.

A List of Business Service Centers will be compiled registering companies, which will be able to benefit from the measures included in the Strategy. Companies interested to register in the list can get more information by visiting the webpage of the Ministry of Economy (in Slovak).
 
In line with the Strategy, SARIO aims to support and sustain good relations with established BSCs with an objective to support their further expansion and extend the range of provided services. This includes:

• Investment incentives consultancy for BSC sector
• Assistance to companies interested in registration to BSC Register of Ministry of Economy of Slovak Republic
• Advocacy activities for representatives of the sector at public institutions
• Facilitating connections between schools, universities & research centers and business sector
• Increasing awareness of BSC activities in Slovakia
