On June 24, 2014 IPEC Group in cooperation with the Slovak Investmentand Trade Development Agency (SARIO) and Slovak-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCOK) organized a conference in order to present the project „European China Centre“ for Chinese delegation from the Hubei province. Ivan Čarnogurský, CEO IPEC Group and Tibor Buček, the Head of Foreign Trade Department of SARIO officially opened the event at the premises of D1 Park Bratislava/Senec, where European China Centre will be located. The Head of Chinese delegation from the provincial Hubei parliament and the representative of European Folk Culture Organization (EFCO) also welcomed the participants of conference. In his initial presentation, Ivan Čarnogurský introduced the concept of European Chinese Centre. Afterwards, Slavomíra Lenhardtová, the SARIO representative presented investment and business potential of Slovakia and the services of SARIO agency. Peter Paulen, the president of Slovak-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the former ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Beijing introduced the services of the Chamber of Commerce to Chinese investors. The memorandum of Trading and Economy Cooperation between China Hubei Province and Slovakia was signed by the parties. The conference continued with the presentations of the company representatives of KPMG, Trenkwalder, Nemetschke/Huber/Koloseus and Mayer/McCann Erickson, who introduced the complex services for Chinese companies, including personal, legal and marketing services. They expressed their interest to cooperate with the Chinese investors coming to Slovakia.
