SARIO Business Link - Construction and energy and water management projects abroad 2016

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency organized on April 6, 2016 the first event from the export promotion series called SARIO Business Link 2016 – the professional conference Construction and energy projects and water management projects abroad was held as an accompanying program of CONECO and RACIOENERGIA 2016 fairs in the premises of Incheba Expo Bratislava.

The event was attended by 57 participants who in addition to participating in the conference took advantage of the opportunity to discuss their cooperation activities in the individual meetings with the lecturers and network with the other participants.

The conference presented practical information and data on the possibilities of participation in international projects, financing export activities, introduced pro-export instruments of SARIO and also successful projects of several companies in this field abroad were also presented.

The event was opened by Tibor Buček , Director of Foreign Trade Department of SARIO, who was followed by Michal Polgár, who presented the project SARIO Business Link,  a tool that will be even more targeted to reach of small and medium sized enterprises in Slovakia with the aim of promoting cooperation with other countries in various selected sectors .

The positive experience of cooperation between the private and public sector was presented by companies Chempro a. s. and Reflow spol. s r. o.  In their presentations they introduced foreign projects as successful examples of their activities in foreign markets in order to encourage more Slovak companies to do business abroad, export and cooperate also with state institutions.  They evaluated their cooperation with SARIO primarily in terms of getting a chance for to enter the market of Iran through business missions and forums attended.

Followed expert presentations of Milan Oleríny, MP Consulting, Zuzana Letková, the Slovak Aid and Milan Moravec , Sweco Hydroprojekt SpA, who spoke about the experience of his company in the countries of Central Asia.
Representatives of the EU - ASEAN Business Network Valerio Mazzone, Irma Orlandi and Philip Endersby provided more information about the possibilities open to the Slovak companies in the merkets of Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam primarily for the construction and energy sectors. The conference was enclosed by the presentation on export financing by Juraj Hara,  CSOB.
