On October 13-14, 2015 the CEE Automotive Forum 2015 took place in Prague and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) was a partner of this event where its representatives presented Slovak investment environment to potential investor and foreign companies looking for Slovak suppliers.The automotive industry is a key sector of the Slovak economy which along with all automotive suppliers represents 43% of whole industrial production. Slovakia is ranked as the number one worldwide in car production per capita – 178 cars per 1000 inhabitants were produced in Slovakia in 2014 and in 2015 there are similar expectations. Slovakia offers suitable business environment for total of 316 automotive companies who are delivering their products all around the world. Over 60 automotive companies represented well known car manufacturers such as Opel, General Motors, Tatra, Suzuki, Peugeot Citroën October 13-14, 2015 the representatives of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) accomplished a business trip to the Czech Republic where they participated on CEE Automotive Forum 2015 in Prague. All participants had a chance to see the presentation Business Friendly Slovakia which was delivered by Peter Osvald , the Executive Director of SARIO and Juraj Mihal, the Consultant of the FDI Department of SARIO during the first session of the event. Another opportunity to meet SARIO representatives was during the second day roundtable discussions with delegations of Central and Eastern European countries. Participants could also visit SARIO exhibition space during both days of the conference where they could find the information about SARIO´s activities.The participation of SARIO was very well received and many promising new leads and companies contacts were generated.
