SARIO was at birth of three recently announced investment projects

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency provided assistance in the process of implementation of three recently announced investment projects, which should together create more than 1,000 new jobs. 105 new jobs have already been created in the Hencovce Bukóza Invest;  600 jobs would be created in Kosice in the new operation of Howe Slovakia s.r.o.; and 350 new jobs would bring to Kosice airberlin technik Slovakia s.r.o.

Company Bukóza Invest in Hencovce early in August began production of sanitary goods and created 105 new jobs. The amount of investment in technology in the new operation represents 6.7 million euros. The aim of the company is to employ about 700 people. For Bukóza is the production of sanitary goods a new product, so it only focused their production on wood pulp. The company employs a total of 1,120 people.

Company Howe Slovakia wants to set up a new operation with a focus on leather production, which should be located either in Immopark in Košice airport or in an industrial park in the Velká Ida. Howe Slovakia, s. r. o. operates in Kosice from 2004 as a subsidiary of the Australian AUSTRALIAN LEATHER HOLDINGS LIMITED. It currently employs about 900 people. The company produces leather parts for cars.

The company airberlin technik Slovakia, s.r.o. should in three stages create around 350 new jobs in Kosice. In the first phase it should later this year open a new design center and create 40 jobs. In the second stage the company should start to repair air brakes and the third phase is supposed to include redesign of the interiors of passenger aircrafts. The investment should be between 10 to 20 million EUR. The company airberlin technik Slovakia s. r. o. was established in August 2013 and its founder and sole shareholder is Air Berlin Technik Limited based in the UK.
