Since 2002, SARIO has successfully supported implementation of several
strategic investment projects in Slovakia. Among them, establishment of the premium carmaker Jaguar Land Rover in Nitra in 2015, PSA Peugeot Citroën Trnava in 2003, further Kia Motors Žilina in 2004 as well as the expansion of the Volkswagen Bratislava plant in 2008.

The agency also supported number of subcontractor projects for the automotive industry — for example the investment of French company Faurecia, German Brose, Korean MOBIS or American supplier Getrag Ford Transmissions.

Another project realized with the help of SARIO was the investment of Korean LCD TV manufacturer Samsung Electronics in Galanta and Voderady or investment of US group Honeywell in Prešov. Apart from industrial production, we also supported establishments or expansions of several shared service centers (SSC), for example the global company Amazon, which opened its first Slovak representation in Bratislava in 2011, establishment of a global business center of the American company Dell, expansion of IT center T–Systems in Košice and expansion of IT services delivery center of IBM or AT&T.

In the area of R&D projects SARIO supported and assisted in setting up
a technology center of Brazilian company Embraco, as well as development
of the new center of American integrated circuits manufacturer —
ON Semiconductor.
