Call for Synergic Support For Projects Receiving Regional Investment Aid

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, a webinar was held on the Call For Synergic Support For Projects Receiving Regional Investment Aid (code OPII-MH/DP/2021/9.5-31), it was organized by SARIO and the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
 
The call for applications for the provision of non-repayable financial contribution from EU sources under the Operational Programme Integrated Infrastructure is aimed at synergic support to companies, that are beneficiaries of regional investment aid – funding provided from the state budget of the Slovak Republic (according to Act No. 57/2018 Coll. on regional investment aid).
 
Companies applying for this non-repayable financial contribution under this call must be beneficiaries of regional investment aid on the date of submission of the application at the latest.
 
The aim is to support the implementation of investment plans of the micro, small, medium, and large enterprises in the field of industrial production, development, and innovation of technologically advanced products, technologies, or production processes within the entire territory of the Slovak Republic, except for the Bratislava region.
 
Companies will be able to use the non-repayable contribution as an additional source of funding for investment projects in the form of direct aid and it shall cover the acquisition of machinery, equipment, and intangible fixed assets, such as industrial rights, licenses, know-how, etc.
 
The indicative amount of this EU funding allocated to the call is EUR 30 million. The first round is scheduled to close on June 30, 2021. Closures for subsequent rounds will follow at three-monthly intervals.
 
The webinar was attended by 153 participants. During the webinar, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the SARIO Agency answered dozens of questions from the participants.
