On September 9, 2022, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency received a delegation of the Northern Finland Trade Association covering 18 Finnish businessmen from sectors such as the financial, ICT, healthcare and metalworking industries.During the reception of the delegation, the SARIO agency organized a program aimed at presenting Slovakia as a politically and economically stable country. Director of the Department of Foreign Trade Egon Zorád opened the event and explained the importance of business relations between Slovakia and Finland, consultant of the Department of Foreign Trade Daniel Ondruš presented the business and investment environment in Slovakia, as well as the services of the SARIO agency, whose presentation was followed by the Finnish company Peikko, established in Slovakia, with its success story. The representatives of the company explained the beginnings of the investment in Slovakia and the successes to date. The interest of Finnish entrepreneurs in Slovakia was underlined by a number of questions during individual presentations.
