Slovak delegation at „Rebuild Ukraine“ Exhibition

The SARIO agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ukraine as well as with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Poland, prepared a national stand under the branding entitled Good Idea Slovakia at the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition, which took place on 15th – 16th February, 2023 in Warsaw.


The goal of the exhibition was focused on bringing some new visions and presenting new projects pertaining to the post-war recovery of the Ukrainian economy with a strong accent on the construction sector. A number of foreign companies showed up at the exhibition - a total number of as many as 304 companies from 22 countries and 12 national stands, including the Slovak stand. Financial institutions and donor organizations also attended the event. The primordial goal was to help with the post-war transformation of Ukraine. In addition to the mentioned entities, representatives of more than 23 Ukrainian municipalities, directly affected by the armed conflict were present as well. 
 
The Slovak Republic was represented by a business delegation consisted of
13 business entities, mainly from the construction, engineering as well as energy sector. In total, there were as many as 61 B2B/B2G meetings between Slovak entities and their foreign counterparts.
The national stand was also visited by the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Peter Gerhart, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Marek Šafin. The Slovak Republic stands fully on the side of Ukraine and is ready to participate in its restoration. 


As part of the Slovak delegation, SARIO visited several Ukrainian municipalities where various projects were presented. Most of the projects required financing in the form of sponsorship. However, an interesting point was the renovation project of the town of Borodyanka, which is planning the reconstruction of buildings and the construction of a large industrial park on the outskirts of the city based on a business model that will operate mainly on green technologies Read more: https://eng.rebuildua.net/
 
A total number of 2,055 visitors came to the exhibition, and the medial coverage of the event was published in more than 46 media from 13 different countries.
