GlobalTags News Foreign trade Cooperation events The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) actively participated in the organization of the Business Forum with Honorary Consuls of the Slovak Republic, held on June 5, 2025, in the Historic Building of the National Council of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with SARIO as part of the Meeting of Honorary Consuls.The forum provided Slovak entrepreneurs with a unique opportunity to meet in person with more than 116 honorary consuls of the Slovak Republic from nearly 80 countries around the world. These representatives are not only diplomatic contacts, but also respected entrepreneurs and experts with strong ties to their regions, capable of facilitating valuable business contacts and market insights.More than 250 Slovak companies expressed interest in the event, reflecting the growing need for the internationalization of Slovak businesses. The forum once again confirmed the importance of connecting diplomacy, the business sector, and institutional support in the search for new export opportunities for Slovak companies.SARIO’s Director General, Robert Šimončič, also took part in a panel discussion held within the Meeting of Honorary Consuls on June 6, 2025, where he emphasized the importance of supporting the internationalization of Slovak companies and highlighted opportunities for cooperation with honorary consuls in the development of economic diplomacy.
