GlobalTags News Business mission Support for SMEs National Project Švajčiarsko Teritórium Švajčiarsko The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized a business mission to Switzerland under the National Project “Support for the Internationalization of SMEs 2” from 3 to 7 May 2026, on the occasion of Swiss Biotech Day and the Eureka Global Innovation Summit 2026.The mission was attended by eight small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): Artman Technologies, Biotika, BioX Technologies, Glycanostics, MEDIC LABOR, Rare Crew, Selecta Biotech, and SwissTech. A key part of the programme was participation in Swiss Biotech Day, a major international event in the field of biotechnology and life sciences. The event focused primarily on the latest trends and innovations in research and development, manufacturing, data management, artificial intelligence, and innovative financial models. The programme included expert panel discussions, structured matchmaking activities, as well as individual B2B meetings. The companies also took part in the Eureka Global Innovation Summit, a prestigious international summit focused on supporting research, innovation, and international cooperation among companies, start-ups, universities, investors, and public institutions from more than 40 countries worldwide.SARIO also prepared an accompanying programme for the business delegation in the form of a seminar titled Why Switzerland? A Business Guide for Biotech SMEs. The discussion focused on opportunities for entering the Swiss market, the local business environment, and possibilities for developing cooperation for Slovak companies operating in the biotech sector. During the mission, the participating companies held more than 60 B2B meetings. The business mission provided Slovak SMEs with an opportunity to present their companies in an international environment, thereby supporting their internationalization and the establishment of strategic partnerships.
