GlobalTags News Foreign trade Business mission Finland The Slovak business delegation participated in a trade mission to Helsinki on 19–20 November 2025, combined with attendance at the renowned high-tech conference SLUSH 2025. The delegation consisted of eleven companies operating in the fields of information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, medtech, the space industry, and other innovative sectors. The mission was organised by the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Helsinki, and the Slovak Alliance for Innovative Economy (SAPIE).SLUSH 2025 is the flagship event of the Nordic region, attracting more than ten thousand participants every year, including investors, start-ups, and rapidly growing tech companies from around the world. This year’s edition welcomed over 13,000 participants from 90 countries and a total of 20 organisations from Slovakia. Thanks to the support of the mission organisers, Slovak companies held dozens of B2B and B2G meetings during the conference.As part of the mission programme, an event was hosted at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Helsinki to connect Finnish and Slovak entrepreneurs. The event, titled 'Connect with Slovakia: Your Next Business Destination', was opened by the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Finland, Dušan Krištofík, followed by a presentation by SAPIE’s Executive Director Michal Kardoš on the Slovak start-up ecosystem. The Slovak business environment was introduced by Adam Csuka, Deputy Director of SARIO’s Foreign Trade Department. The B2B meetings and informal networking were attended by twenty-four Finnish partners.
