Business mission to Saudi Arabia

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), in cooperation with the Slovak-Saudi Chamber of Commerce, under the auspices of the Slovak-Saudi Business Council, and in collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Riyadh, contributed to the organization of a Business Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which took place from May 19 to 21, 2025. Approximately 25 Slovak companies participated in the business mission, with SARIO facilitating the participation of 7 Slovak companies.

The main highlight of the program was the Slovak-Saudi Business Forum, which focused on enhancing cooperation between Slovak and Saudi companies in the areas of medical technologies, ICT innovations, and the wood and furniture industries. The forum was opened by the Chairmen of the Slovak-Saudi Business Council, Mr. AbdulRahman AI-Otaishan and Mr. Abdulla Al Hakim. Welcoming remarks were also delivered by Slovak Minister of Health Mr. Kamil Šaško and the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Saudi Arabia, H.E. Rudolf Michalka. Mr. Daniel Ondruš, Deputy Director of the Foreign Trade Department at SARIO, presented the Slovak investment and business environment, aiming to attract potential investors from Saudi Arabia. In the second part of the program, B2B meetings were held between Slovak and Saudi companies, creating space for establishing concrete business partnerships.

The evening concluded with a networking event at the residence of the Slovak Ambassador in Riyadh, where participants discussed opportunities for further cooperation between the business communities of both countries.
