Digital healthcare technologies fair DMEA 2026

SARIO agency, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Berlin and the Slovak-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized a joint national stand at the international trade fair for digital healthcare technologies DMEA 2026, which took place from April 21 to 23 in Berlin. This was the first participation in this prestigious event in the form of a joint stand.

The event once again confirmed its importance as one of the key European meetings of digital healthcare experts. More than 900 exhibitors from 30 countries, over 500 speakers and approximately 22,000 participants filled the exhibition halls and created a unique platform for presenting innovations, exchanging experiences and establishing new business partnerships. After 18 years in the German capital, the next edition will move to Munich, making this edition the last in Berlin. Among the largest national exhibits were countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordic countries.

Slovakia was represented at the fair by four companies that presented their innovative solutions for modern healthcare and a secure digital environment:

  • FaceRehab (INOVUJ s.r.o.) – a rehabilitation system for patients with facial paralysis
  • Hilbi Health s.r.o. – a modern communication platform between a doctor and a patient
  • citadelo s.r.o. – cybersecurity and ethical hacking
  • Crayonic B.V., organizational unit – secure digital identity for healthcare and critical infrastructure

The national stand was visited on the first day of the event by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic in Berlin, Juraj Macháč, who appreciated the presented solutions and their potential on the global market.

However, DMEA is not just about exhibits. The fair also includes a rich accompanying program full of expert lectures, panel discussions and networking events that bring together digital healthcare leaders, technology companies, healthcare institutions and investors from all over the world. Topics such as the digitalization of healthcare, cybersecurity, telemedicine and the use of artificial intelligence are among the main pillars of the event.

Participation in the fair brought several significant benefits to Slovak companies. In addition to increasing international visibility, they had the opportunity to establish new business contacts, discuss potential partnerships and obtain valuable feedback from experts in practice. The fair also provided a space to monitor the latest trends and technological innovations, which is key for the further development of the competitiveness of Slovak companies in foreign markets.

SARIO's role consisted in approaching and selecting exhibitors for a joint stand, providing organizational and technical support for the exhibition and actively supporting companies throughout the duration of the fair. On the last day, the participants were also introduced to the new SARIO expert for Germany, Martina Šúšová, who works in Munich.

The agency thus once again confirmed its role as an important partner in the internationalization of Slovak innovative companies and their successful presentation at major international events.
