EU Export Day

On 16 October 2025 the EU Export Day event took place in the Congress Hall of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, focusing on supporting the internationalisation of Slovak companies. The event was organised by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the SARIO agency, the European Commission, and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.

The aim of the event was to present practical tools to strengthen the export readiness of Slovak companies and to demonstrate how the European Union and the Slovak Republic support businesses in entering non-EU markets through information platforms, financial instruments and diplomatic assistance.

The event was opened by top state representatives - Prime Minister of the SR Robert Fico, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the SR Denisa Saková, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the SR Juraj Blanár, European Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maroš. Šefčovič.

The programme included a panel discussion focused on how the EU and the Slovak Republic support companies and increase their competitiveness through trade agreements. 

During the workshop, entrepreneurs were introduced to tools provided by the European Commission, the SARIO agency and EXIMBANKA SR that facilitate and simplify their expansion into markets outside the EU.
