HN Business Forum Poland–Slovakia

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bratislava, the Polish Business Club and other partners, co-organised the 5th edition of the HN Business Forum Poland–Slovakia, held in Bratislava on 28 May 2026.

The event was officially opened by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Poland in the Slovak Republic, Piotr Samerek, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Poland, Andrea Elcheková Matioasová, and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Vladimír Šimonák.

An introductory workshop was prepared for entrepreneurs interested in entering the Polish market. During the session, representatives of several Slovak companies, together with Stanislav Kučírek, President of the Slovak-Polish Chamber of Commerce, shared their experience and highlighted the specifics of doing business in Poland. The workshop was moderated by Paulína Šperková, Honorary Consul General of the Slovak Republic in Kraków and Chair of the Polish-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The second part of the programme featured a panel discussion entitled “From Startup to Giant”. SARIO was represented in the discussion by Simona Jurkovičová, Director of the Investment Projects Department.

The event attracted approximately one hundred companies, with around half of them participating in the subsequent networking session organised by SARIO. A total of 12 Polish and 36 Slovak companies took part in the B2B matchmaking meetings, during which 50 pre-scheduled meetings were held.
