How to Enter the Markets of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) in cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) organized an online webinar on September 3, 2025, titled “How to Enter the Markets of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.” The event was intended for Slovak export-oriented companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises interested in expanding into Asian markets.

Participants received practical information on the economic situation in Hong Kong, business establishment opportunities, tax conditions, logistics, and participation in trade fairs.

The event was opened by Daniel Ondruš from SARIO. Filip Kořínek and Sandra Bogarová from HKTDC presented business opportunities in Hong Kong and ways to establish contacts with relevant partners, including through trade fairs. Francesco Montonati from Hawksford introduced the business environment and conditions for setting up companies. Tibor Majzún from cargo-partner SR shared tips on logistics and exports. Ivan Samuhel from AudioPress Box presented his own experience with expanding into Asian markets.

The webinar concluded with a discussion during which participants could ask questions directly to the speakers.
