SARIO Investment Seminar in South Korea

On March 18, 2026, an investment seminar was held at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in the Republic of Korea under the auspices of the SARIO’s Investment and Trade Office in South Korea, Michal Dutko.

The main goal was to present Slovakia as an attractive investment destination for Korean companies operating in the fields of robotics, automation, artificial intelligence and information and communication technologies, and at the same time to strengthen the connections between the Slovak and Korean innovation ecosystems.

Six robotics companies participated in the seminar, five of which were Korean, not yet operating in Europe, and two representatives from the mechatronics departments of Yonsei University and Seoul National University.

This initiative follows on from previous activities of the SARIO agency and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Seoul. The aim is to support cooperation not only between Slovak and Korean companies in the field of robotics research and development, but also between universities in both countries.

After the seminar, the SARIO expert in Korea will continue individual negotiations with selected companies during the upcoming KIMES 2026 trade fair, focusing mainly on robotics companies operating in the healthcare sector.
