GlobalTags News Slovak Space Office Memorandum USA Axiom Space and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration between the company and the Slovak space sector. The signing was held during a Slovak networking event at the International Astronautical Congress in Sydney, Oct. 1, 2025, where a dozen Slovak companies presented their capabilities.The memorandum aims to facilitate collaboration on Orbital Data Center development, coordinating access across multiple operators and providers, to support the integration of Slovak space companies into Axiom Space‘s global supply chain to support satellite construction and operations, suborbital and orbital launch services, development and hosting of research payloads, and building STEM outreach activities. Robert Simoncic, Chief Executive Officer at SARIO, said, „The space economy is one of the key drivers of Slovakia’s diversification towards a knowledge-based economy.
