SARIO at Automechanika Frankfurt 2016

On September 14, 2016 the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) organized in Frankfurt the investment seminar entitled "Doing Business in Slovakia 2016 - Opportunities in the Slovak Automotive Industry & Innovation Potential". The seminar was co-organized by Imrich Donath, the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic for Hesse and it took place during a major international exhibition of automotive suppliers Automechanika 2016.
 
The main topic was the presentation of the advantages of Slovak investment environment, the innovation potential of Slovakia, including the implementation of principles of Industry 4.0 specific business opportunities in the Slovak automotive industry. The representatives of invited global companies primarily from the automotive industry also expressed real interest in expanding their production capacity to Central Europe and Slovakia.
 
The event was opened by Olaf Mußhoff, the Director of Automechanika 2016 fari and H.E. Peter Lizák, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Germany. The first major presentation was delivered by Robert Šimončič , the CEO of SARIO, who presented the Slovak business environment, including the investment aid conditions.
The second presentation by John Pribula, the Secretary General of the Association of Automotive Industry in detail explained the condition and development of the automotive industry in Slovakia.
The seminar was concluded by the presentations of two successful companies operating in Slovakia in the automotive industry delivered by Miroslav Rosina, Vice president of Matador Holding and Andrej Stefanik, the Development Manager at CEIT.

After the investment seminar, the delegation moved to the exhibition area, where meetings were held with companies already established in Slovakia.
