SARIO Investment Seminar in Shenzhen, China

SARIO recognises China's growing potential in new technologies and trends. That is why on 29 May 2025, in cooperation with CGL Investment, whose Slovak branch is a member of the Investment Support Association (ISA), SARIO organized an investment seminar in Shenzhen for nearly 40 Chinese companies.

Shenzhen is a hub for foreign investment and one of the fastest-growing cities in the world since the late 1970s. It is home to the second busiest port in China after Shanghai, and is also home to dozens of technology startups as well as large Chinese technology companies. This is why the city has been nicknamed China's “Silicon Valley”. 

The seminar was opened by Mr. Hao Cheng, Chairman of CGL Group, followed by a presentation by a representative of The Shenzhen Qianhai International Business e-Station. The e-Station is an integrated service platform designed to assist companies in their international expansion efforts. It combines online and offline services and provides a one-stop shop for companies seeking to invest abroad or attract foreign investment.

The main item on the agenda was a presentation by a representative of SARIO's Investment Projects Department on the investment environment in Slovakia. Schemes and forms of state aid for potential investors, the economic environment of Slovakia, key industrial zones, and competitiveness in the field of labor, electrical infrastructure, and green energy were also presented. The presentation continued with a question hour during which Chinese companies confirmed their interest in cooperation between Slovakia and China and investing in Slovakia.
