The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), within the framework of the National project -  Support for the Internationalization of SMEs 2, organized a business mission to Paris from 10 to 15 June 2025. The mission aimed to support small and medium-sized enterprises in entering one of Europe's most progressive markets in innovation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.

A total of 11 Slovak companies participated: Alfa Devín, Concrete Pitch, EFC – Budúcnosť vo vzdelávaní, Fintegence, Kodiva, MEDIC LABOR, NextIT, Payout, PREMY, ROEZ R&D, and Suppyhub.

The core part of the program was attendance at Viva Technology 2025, one of Europe’s largest events focused on AI, digital innovation, and the startup ecosystem. This year’s edition placed particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and its applications across various sectors of the economy.

The delegation also took part in a professional seminar, Doing Business in France, which provided Slovak entrepreneurs with insights into the French business and legal environment, along with practical guidance for entering the local market.

Networking activities culminated in a joint event organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in France, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in France, and CzechInvest. The event created an informal platform for meetings between Slovak companies and more than 90 entities – including startups, investors, businesses, and institutions from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and beyond.

During the mission, Slovak companies participated in over 170 B2B meetings, gaining concrete business leads and a deeper understanding of current trends and market requirements abroad.

The business mission to Paris offered Slovak companies a strong foundation to showcase their products, services, and innovation potential in an international context and on diplomatic ground, reinforcing their ambitions to expand into foreign markets.
