Deep Tech Week is one of the major global platforms connecting innovators, startups, investors and technology leaders in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, defence technologies and energy innovation.

Participation in the event provided Slovak companies with a unique opportunity to gain an up-to-date overview of the latest technological trends. The networking meetings, expert panels, pitch sessions and discussions with founders of successful deep tech companies were of particular value.

SARIO also arranged an accompanying programme for the business delegation in the form of a networking event organised in cooperation with Slovak PRO and the European Startup Embassy. During the event, companies had the opportunity to establish contacts with investors, venture capital funds, technology partners and potential customers.

As a global hub of technological innovation, San Francisco provided Slovak participants with a unique opportunity to benchmark their solutions against international competitors, gain a better understanding of the needs of the U.S. market and identify new opportunities for expansion. For many companies, the mission opened doors to potential partnerships, investors and future business cooperation.

During the mission, the companies took part in more than 200 B2B meetings. The business mission provided Slovak SMEs with a platform to present their solutions in an international environment, thereby supporting their internationalisation and the development of strategic partnerships.
