GlobalTags News Foreign trade Cooperation events Hungary The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency, in cooperation with the Embassy of Hungary in Bratislava and the Central European Non-Profit Network for Economic Development (CED), organized the next annual Slovak-Hungarian Business Forum on June 12, 2025.The event, which took place as part of the 11th annual Hungarian Culture Week in Bratislava “More than a Neighbor”, was opened by the Ambassador of Hungary to the Slovak Republic, Csaba Balogh. This was followed by introductory remarks by the Director of the Foreign Trade Department of SARIO, Egon Zorád, and the Director for Export Development of CED, Olga Pinczés. This year's Slovak-Hungarian Business Forum focused on tourism, gastronomy and the HORECA sector. The event program consisted of two parts. The first part was dedicated to expert lectures and presentations of tourism and its potential in both Slovakia and Hungary. The second part consisted of B2B meetings, during which 150 participants from 80 business entities had the opportunity to strengthen business ties, establish new contacts and create opportunities for joint projects and investments. In total, more than 150 B2B meetings were held. The event also included a presentation of interesting gastronomic products typical of the countries. The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency highly values the current level of bilateral relations with its Hungarian partners and looks forward to further jointly prepared activities.
