Slovak Innovations at the 2026 International Engineering Fair in Brno

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), as part of the national project “SME Internationalisation Support 2”, organised a Slovak national exhibition at the 2026 International Engineering Fair (MSV) in Brno from 6 to 9 October 2026. Under the GOOD IDEA SLOVAKIA brand, Slovak companies presented their most advanced technological solutions and industrial innovations.
 

The International Engineering Fair in Brno is one of the most important industrial events in Central Europe. It covers all areas of the mechanical engineering and electrical engineering industries and welcomes more than 80,000 visitors and 1,600 exhibitors from around the world every year.

On the first day of the fair, the Slovak national exhibition was officially opened by Vladimír Šimoňák, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic; Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic; Karel Havlíček, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic; Aleš Juchelka, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic; Igor Červený, Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic; and Jan Kubata, CEO of Veletrhy Brno.

Slovakia’s participation in one of the region’s most significant industrial events was also supported by the presence of Egon Zorád, Director General of SARIO, and Gabriel Gottgeisl, Director of SARIO’s National Project Department.
 

This year, 15 Slovak companies exhibited at the national pavilion: Ing.Častulík,s.r.o., LIFTEC SK, s.r.o., KOHAFLEX s.r.o., PROLEMA s. r. o., HrTech s.r.o., Aericomm s.r.o., Robustech s.r.o., EKOM spol. s r.o., JARES Therm s.r.o., CALSYS s. r. o., TCCONTACT, TECHNIKUM s.r.o., NIKOMI, s.r.o., RE-CA s.r.o., and AS ENGINEERING s. r. o.

Participation in the fair confirmed that MSV Brno is a strategic platform for Slovak companies to showcase their innovations and strengthen their international competitiveness. During the event, Slovak exhibitors held more than 300 business meetings with potential partners from various countries around the world.

The Slovak exhibition provided an exceptional opportunity to present Slovakia as a country of advanced technologies and attractive business opportunities, while significantly increasing the international visibility of Slovak industry.
