Slovak-Korean business seminar

10th of June, 2025, a Slovak-Korean business seminar took place in Seoul. The event was aimed at attracting Korean companies from the field of electromobility and industrial production, to invest in Slovakia.

The main part of the seminar was a presentation of Michal Dutko, SARIO representative in South Korea, regarding the investment environment in Slovakia. Schemes and forms of state aid for potential investors, the economic environment of Slovakia, key industrial zones, and competitiveness in labor and infrastructure were also presented. The presentation continued with a Q&A session, during which participating companies confirmed their strong interest in deepening economic cooperation between Slovakia and South Korea. The Slovak investment environment is perceived as an environment that is ready for new foreign investments.

The Slovak-Korean business seminar was initiated and organized by SARIO and the economical section of the Slovak Embassy in Seoul under the auspices of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in South Korea. Among the guests attending were Ministers Counsellor and the Head of Trade Section of the EU Delegation to South Korea Walter Van Hattum,  the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in South Korea Mr. Ken Lee, the Vice President of Hyundai Mobis and other important representatives from Korean companies.
