Gamescom is one of the world’s leading events for the video game industry, bringing together game developers, publishers, investors, distributors, technology partners and media representatives from across the globe. In addition to showcasing new games, the event serves as an important business platform for establishing international partnerships and developing export opportunities.

Located in Hall 4.1 at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre, the joint exhibition space provided Slovak companies with an opportunity to showcase their projects, technological solutions and game development capabilities to an international professional audience.

During the five-day event, Slovak companies held a total of 509 B2B meetings, creating opportunities to establish new business contacts and explore potential cooperation with publishers, investors, distributors and technology partners. Participation in gamescom also enabled Slovak companies to present their products and services to the global market and identify new export opportunities.

The event focused on showcasing Slovakia’s game development ecosystem and providing networking opportunities for Slovak companies and international video game industry professionals.

The Slovak national pavilion was organised in cooperation with the Slovak Game Developers Association (SGDA), a professional association representing and supporting the development of Slovakia’s video game industry. The partnership between SARIO and SGDA contributed to the joint promotion of the Slovak gaming sector on the international stage.
