GlobalTags News Fairs & exhibitions China Národný projekt Podpora MSP Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), as part of the National Project Department, prepared a national stand at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. The event took place from November 5 to 10, 2025, and was attended by eight Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises, which presented mainly food products, but also aviation, technology, and services. The stand was complemented by paintings by Slovak artist Jaro Šulek, whose work is owned by world-famous public figures. The Slovak exhibitors were: CASTE SK a.s., DanceCool s.r.o. (HANGIT - Jakes & Co.), J.VINCE s.r.o., LOGIpark 29, s.r.o., Matysak Export s.r.o., NISUS-AERO, s.r.o., Vino Peter Lisicky s.r.o., and YUZU House s.r.o. The grand opening of the national stand took place on November 5, attended by Slovak Minister of Finance L. Kamenický, Song Xuejun, Ministerial Secretary of the CIIE, Slovak Ambassador to Beijing M. Lajčiak, and Slovak Consul General in Shanghai I. Pacolák jointly cut the ribbon, thereby launching Slovakia's participation in the 8th CIIE. The event brought companies over 200 B2B meetings, interesting contacts, and high-level prestige in front of foreign delegations and visitors. The total exhibition area exceeded 430,000 m2, which is the largest space ever allocated to CIIE for the entire duration of the event. This year, CIIE was visited by more than 450,000 professional visitors and exhibited over 4,000 companies from 155 countries around the world, making it one of the largest events in Asia.
