The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency within the National project “Support of internationalization of SMEs” in the period 28th – 31st March 2022 prepared a platform for six Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises and for their presentation, as part of a joint exhibition at the International Defence Fair DSA Kuala Lumpur.DSA 2022 is one of the most important defence and arms fairs in the Asia region, it is also the main meeting point for experts in the military industry, thus becoming a platform for manufacturers, suppliers, and consumers of military equipment. The Slovak Republic was represented in the exhibition by a national stand under Slovakia’s visual brand Good Idea Slovakia organized by the agency SARIO, which presented 6 Slovak companies: GRAND POWER, iBross, Milan Buchel MB Sport, S.M.S., spol. s r. o., T-Indsutry and Zepelin. The Malaysian Minister of Defence, Hishammuddin Hussein visited the Slovak National Stand. The importance of Slovakia's participation in the DSA fair was also confirmed by the participation of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic, Marian Majer. The purpose of the participation of Slovak companies in the joint national exposition was the opportunity to present their business activities and present to foreign partners an assortment of their products, as well as to establish business contacts with the aim of concluding business contracts and exporting products abroad.
