From 17 to 20 November 2025, the Slovak Republic participated in MEDICA 2025 in Düsseldorf, one of the world’s leading medical trade fairs. The participation of Slovak companies was organised by the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) within the national project Support of SME Internationalization 2.

Within the Slovak national pavilion, 10 innovative Slovak companies presented their solutions: Diawin, Epur, Glycanostics, Justur, Mlad, Seerliq, Selecta Biotech, MedFlow by SkyMedical, Touch4IT, Vidra.

The aim of Slovakia’s participation was to support the presentation of Slovak healthcare technologies, strengthen export activities, and develop new business opportunities in international markets. Throughout the trade fair, the participating companies conducted more than 200 meetings with potential partners, investors, and industry professionals.

On the opening day, Monday 17 November 2025, the national pavilion was visited by Miriam Rafajová, Economic Diplomat of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Berlin, and Klaus Wegener, Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic based in Dortmund. They met with the exhibiting companies and discussed their products, export ambitions, and possibilities for further support in the German market, particularly in the region of North Rhine–Westphalia.

The busiest days of the fair were Tuesday and Wednesday, which brought the highest number of professional visitors and business meetings. During these days, Slovak companies actively engaged with healthcare professionals, distributors, business partners, and representatives of medical institutions from across Europe.

In addition to the national pavilion, six other Slovak companies also participated at MEDICA 2025.

Slovakia’s presence at MEDICA 2025 once again confirmed the high quality of Slovak innovative solutions and their ability to succeed in international markets.
