Thailand Presented Business and Investment Opportunities to Slovak Companies

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), in cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Bangkok, organized another territorial seminar on 4 June 2026. The aim of the event was to present Thailand’s business, investment, and legal environment and to identify opportunities for strengthening trade cooperation between Slovak and Thai partners.

The webinar was opened by Daniel Ondruš, Director of the Foreign Trade Department at SARIO, H.E. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, and Katarína Forsthuber from the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Bangkok.

The programme offered a comprehensive overview of the Thai market. A representative of the Thai Chamber of Commerce introduced the country’s current business environment, while a representative of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), Frankfurt Office, presented investment opportunities and support available to foreign investors.

A practical perspective on doing business in Thailand was provided by the Slovak company Winfair Asia, which shared its experience and successful activities in the market. The programme was complemented by a presentation from Mahanakorn Partners Group, which introduced its business and legal services for foreign companies entering the Thai market.

The webinar concluded with a discussion session and answers to questions submitted by participants through the registration form. The event provided Slovak companies with valuable information on business opportunities in Thailand and created a platform for establishing new contacts and developing future cooperation.
