GlobalTags News Foreign trade Cooperation events V4 Žilina Becomes a Hub of Innovation and Artificial Intelligence – V4 Innovation Business Forum 2025The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), in cooperation with the Embassy of Hungary in Bratislava, organized the V4 Innovation Business Forum 2025, which took place on October 8, 2025, in Žilina under the working subtitle “Boost Your Business with AI.” The forum was held within the framework of Hungary’s Presidency of the Visegrad Group (V4), under the main motto “Competitive Visegrad.”The event provided a platform for cooperation among technology companies, institutions, and public sector representatives from the V4 countries. Its aim was to strengthen cross-border ties, present new opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), and support innovation and business development in Central Europe. The opening remarks were delivered by H.E. Dr. Csaba Balogh, Ambassador of Hungary to Slovakia, and Prof. Ing. Ján Čelko, CSc., Rector of the University of Žilina. The program continued with expert lectures on AI-related topics.The second part of the event focused on presentations by the SARIO Space Office and the Hungary Innovation Agency, followed by a panel discussion titled “How to Boost Your Business with AI.” Experts from Slovak Telekom, UiPath, Infoshare, and dAItable took part, discussing the practical applications of artificial intelligence in business.The event also featured B2B and B2G meetings organized by SARIO. These sessions, attended by around 90 participants, enabled direct connections between entrepreneurs, investors, and institutions from the Visegrad Group countries, bringing new momentum to joint projects in AI and innovation. In total, more than 70 bilateral meetings were held.The forum also included an exhibition zone where companies and institutions showcased their innovative solutions and products in the fields of AI, digitalization, and automation.The program concluded with a visit to the research laboratories and the Science and Technology Park of the University of Žilina, where participants had the opportunity to see practical examples of how science, research, and business can be effectively connected.The V4 Innovation Business Forum 2025 confirmed the importance of regional cooperation in technology and innovation and contributed to strengthening partnerships among the Visegrad Group countries. The event in Žilina demonstrated that artificial intelligence is a key element of a competitive and innovative Central European region.
