TATRA SUMMIT Investment Forum is just a few weeks away, so it’s a great opportunity to register for this event that will take place on 11-12 November 2014 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
 
TATRA SUMMIT Investment Forum will take place on 11–12 November 2014. It will be a platform where government, investors and project sponsors exchange views on growth funding.
 
Confirmed speakers include Finance Ministers of Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Peter Kažimír and Andrej Babiš, Vice President of the European Investment Bank, László Baranyay, Managing Director for Central and South Eastern Europe of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Jean-Marc Petterschmitt, as well as representatives of business and industry, including CEO of Slovnaft, Oszkár Világi, and Daniel Křetinský, Chairman of Energetický a Průmyslový Holding (Energy and Industry Holding). 
 
The aim of the Forum is to address both public and private financing of growth, models of financial investments in the EU and will thematically focus on four main areas: innovation, strategic infrastructure, energy investments, and SMEs.
 
TATRA SUMMIT Investment Forum offers the participants an opportunity actively to influence the debate about shaping new financial instruments, which will be essential for investment in Slovakia in the next decade.
 
The event is organised by the Centre for European Affairs, the member of Central European Strategy Council, in cooperation with the Slovak Ministry of Finance and the Slovak Investment Holding.
 
TATRA SUMMIT Investment Forum will be followed by TATRA SUMMIT Conference on 12-13 November 2014 that has become one of the key European venues for shaping the European agenda and brings the Central European perspective to the pan-European debate on future of Europe. Major speakers at the conference will include former Prime Minister of Poland, Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, EU Commissioner, Maroš Šefčovič, former Legal Counsel of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Piris, CEO of Erste Group Bank, Andreas Treichl, or President of US Steel Košice, George F. Babcoke.
 
This year’s TATRA SUMMIT is taking place shortly after major institutional reshuffles in the EU and at the time when the new European Commission is taking over the European steer. It also coincides with preparations for Slovakia’s EU presidency in 2016.
 
TATRA SUMMIT is organised by the Centre for European Affairs, Bruegel and the Slovak Ministries of Finance and Foreign and European Affairs.
