Brückner expanding in Slovakia also thanks to SARIO

Brückner expanding in Slovakia also thanks to SARIO

The Brückner Group has evaluated the need for its next assembly plant in Europe.

As part of the analysis of suitable locations in Eastern Europe, Poland and Slovakia were shortlisted for the group. The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) assisted Brückner in selection of a potential location in Slovakia.

The SARIO agency prepared offers of several locations for the investor in the Eastern and the Central Slovakia, along with tours of these locations accompanied by the agency's consultants.

After his positive experiences with the Slovak workforce, the investor preferred the Banská Bystrica Region due to the proximity of the existing Brückner plant in Topoľčany.

In addition to providing potential locations for expansion, the SARIO agency provided the investor with important information on dual education, along with information on all relevant secondary vocational schools within walking distance.

At the same time, for the project of future expansion, the consultants of the SARIO's Department of Investment Projects provided consultations on investment aid, as well as on the super deduction for research and development.

The German Brückner Group is a family-owned, medium-sized group of companies. The Brückner Group has been operating an assembly plant in Topoľčany for almost 20 years, which is currently expanding to 28,000 m² and employs 450 workers.

The assistance of the SARIO agency contributed to the fact that the Brückner Group is opening the first phase of its next assembly plant with an area of 12,000 m² in Slovakia and will employ up to 200 employees in the first phase.
