During days of 4 to 9 November 2019 SARIO organized a business mission to China, namely to Shanghai and Beijing. The mission was organized as part of an official mission by Richard Raši, Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Informatization, as well as representatives from Ministry of Finance, Transport, Foreign and European Affairs, Transport and Agriculture.The business mission was attended by 20 Slovak companies focusing mainly on innovation and innovative processes in various sectors - agriculture, ITC, security, cybernetics, climate technology, paper industry, healthcare, defence, engineering, vision and robotics, aviation, transport.SARIO provided companies with access to the CIIE (China International Import Expo) in Shanghai, the largest exhibition in China, where they had the opportunity to see not only the national stands of the participating countries but also world-renowned brands and companies that presented their products and services at this prestigious international event. SARIO representatives also met with the only two Slovak companies exhibiting at the event - Klein, with its prototype flying car and Neodual, presenting the nutritional supplement, Zeen collagen.After a stay in Shanghai, the delegation moved to Beijing, where a business day was prepared, directed by the innovative diplomat Tibor Buček. The business part of the delegation had the opportunity to try out the virtual reality, covered by SoReal, as well as meeting the company manager, who presented both the establishment and several projects of the company, the largest projects being visual effects at the Beijing 2008 Olympics as well as the opening ceremony of G20 summit.In the afternoon, the delegation moved to the Innoway Center, where they had the opportunity to see an innovative gallery with various modern achievements of technology. The Innovation Forum was opened by the speech of the Deputy Prime Minister R. Raši as well as the general manager of the Innoway Center, Mrs. Nie. Slovakia as a country together with SARIO services was presented by M. Gavlák and subsequently Slovak companies introduced themselves to all forum participants in a few sentences. The forum was concluded by a short networking between individual participants in the premises of the Innoway Center.The business mission to China provided companies with a better understanding of the Chinese market, important contacts for future cooperation, as well as the opportunity to be part of an important and highly rated event such as the China International Import Expo.
