On March 18th, 2021, the SARIO agency, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Berlin, the General Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Munich and the German-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Slowakei), organized a webinar entitled 'Business Opportunities on the German Market'.Following the webinar, free online consultations were held during 3 days, on March 18th, 19th and 23rd for the Slovak business entities interested in expanding into the German market or boosting its current activities on this territory as well as finding out about the current situation in the country.Due to the fact that Germany has long been a strategic economic partner for the Slovak Republic, the interest in the webinar and the consultations was above standard. As many as 77 participants (Slovak entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial bodies) attended the webinar, mostly the representatives of the companies acting and manufacturing in the sectors such as engineering, food industry, IT and logistics.Many Slovak companies are suitable and credible cooperation partners for the German companies, mainly due to the achievement of the economy of scale as well as the geographical proximity. Within online consultations, which took place during 3 days and were intended for the companies during the equal 15 minute time slots, as many as 32 meetings took place.The salient and primordial interest of the SARIO agency is to increase the export potential of the established Slovak companies, to look for the relevant partners suitable for the Slovak entrepreneurs and companies and to organize similar matchmaking activities in a bid to develop the mutual relations.
