The Slovak Investment and Foreign Trade Development Agency (SARIO) had organised another from the series of territorially focused webinars. This time we introduced market of the youngest member state of the European Union - Croatia.The presentation part of the webinar was followed by individual B2G consultations of economic diplomat of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Zagreb, Daniela Bezáková. More than 15 B2G consultations have been planned. SARIO this time cooperated with the Slovak Embassy in Zagreb and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in the preparation of the activity.The webinar was opened by Egon Zorád, Director of the Foreign Trade Department SARIO, together with H.E. Ambassador of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Zagreb, Peter Susko. Subsequently, D. Bezáková, an economic diplomat, delivered her presentation for participants about the current economic development in the country, business practices and export opportunities in perspective sectors. Suzana Knežević, Director of the International Cooperation Division of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, additionally presented possibilities for finding partners in the country and how the Chamber can be helpful in this process.At the end of the presentation, Ms. S. Knežević answered the pre-given questions by the webinar participants. Following the end of the webinar, the economic diplomat D. Bezáková continued to carry out individual consultations, thanks to which it was possible to specify more precisely the interest of the participating companies to be active on the Croatian market and to set up cooperation in the future.SARIO regularly cooperates with partners from Croatia, and the existing institute of the Intergovernmental Economic Commission, which meets regularly under the auspices of Ministers of Economy, is also proof of stable cooperation. Therefore, the webinar is a natural part and a prerequisite for organizing other similar events, regardless of the ongoing pandemic.A recording of the webinar is available on this link.
