On behalf of the SARIO CEO the Director of EU Structure Funds Section Anton Stredak recieved the Bulgarian delegation headed by the director of the partnership Bulgarian agency for investment, Stoyan Stalev and the Deputy to the Minister of the Economy, Energy and Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ivo Marinov. H. E. the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in the SR Ognian Garkov, the Commercial Counselor of the Republic of Bulgaria in Slovakia Vasil Valcev and OBEO Head of the Ministry of the Economy of the SR in Sofia Peter Kovac participated at the meeting as well. According to the Deputy to the Minister of the Economy, Energy and Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, the potential of mutual cooperation of both countries is not fully used; therefore he also considers the idea of Slovak – Bulgarian business mission exceptionally current. The Head of the International Cooperation Department of SARIO Peter Jesensky informed Bulgarian guests about the most promising infrastructure and energy projects at construction of which Slovak companies could participate. Ivo Marinov added that especially interesting from this point of view is the project of the Bulgarian – Romanian gas line and new gas reservoir at the Black Sea, also construction of highway section between Sofia and Burgas, as well as a highway section up to the boundaries with Greece and Turkey. At the end of the meeting Anton Stredak on behalf of SARIO CEO and Stoyan Stalev, director of partnership Bulgarian agency signed the Agreement on the Cooperation between SARIO and Bulgarian agency for investment.
