The SARIO agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, prepared another of the successful business missions during the thematic week (Global Goals) at EXPO2020 in Dubai on January 16 - 19, 2022.The Slovak business mission was led by Ingrid Brocková, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, who opened the Global Goals week at the Slovak Pavilion on Sunday, January 16, 2022.Program of business mission and the whole week was interesting and very busy, it even comprised the world premiere of the universal Prodigy chip of the Slovak company Tachyum, as well as many panel discussions on the following topics: artificial intelligence, technologically supported sustainability, impact investments as well as a brief introduction of Slovak and international startups. Slovak companies had also the opportunity to network with, foreign partners from Mexico, Serbia, Estonia, and other countries during the Business Wine Tasting event at the Slovak Pavilion.Representatives of Slovak companies in the field of sustainable development, waste management, and smart solutions had meetings with local partners as well as visits and tours of other pavilions during the mission. The presence of the business delegation at EXPO2020 brought new cooperation with local and foreign partners, and one of the Slovak companies managed to meet with representatives of the Sheikh Emirates office.Representatives of the SARIO agency, with the participation of EXIMBANKA SR, had bilateral negotiations with Mexico, which should result in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and the preparation of a business mission to Mexico in 2022.
