Last year, the SARIO agency reported significant year-on-year increases in the monitored indicators of new investment projects. Moreover, in 2022, it presented almost 500 Slovak companies through fairs and business missions in 29 countries of the world.Last year, the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) recorded significant increases in results and monitored indicators, such as a two-fold year-on-year increase in the number of newly created jobs, and a four-fold year-on-year increase in the volume of new investment projects. At the same time, the volume of investments with higher added value increased by 70% and the number of new jobs with higher added value increased by 76%.The SARIO agency is known mainly for its connection with the arrival of more than 630 investment projects to Slovakia. The most recent large investment project was the investment by Volvo Cars, supposed to bring 3,300 new jobs to eastern Slovakia in its planned 100% climate-neutral production plant for premium electric SUVs.In addition to the inflow of foreign investments to Slovakia, SARIO also supports the export potential of Slovak companies and ensures their presentation abroad through the organization of business missions, cooperation events, and national stands of the Slovak Republic at fairs and exhibitions abroad. In 2022, the SARIO agency managed to present almost 500 Slovak companies in 29 countries of the world through business missions and fairs.Slovak companies have already presented themselves this year through SARIO within the framework of national stands at fairs in Dubai, and Lyon, or negotiated with dozens of global companies during business forums. In the following months, Slovak national stands are being prepared at fairs in Hanover, Munich, Paris, Cologne, and Brno.In addition, SARIO is currently working on business missions to India, Taiwan, Vietnam, Germany, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Montenegro, and Iceland. In addition, the agency is preparing the international networking business forum the International Business Day 2023 on May 10, 2023, in Bratislava.
