Industrial and Technological Park in Trnava

SARIO Chief Executive Officer Juraj Kiesel attended the opening ceremony of the City Industrial and Technological Park Trnava (MPaTPT). He hammered the foundation stone together with the Minister of Economy Mr. Lubomir Jahnatek, the Mayor of Trnava Stefan Bosnak and the Chairman of the Trnava Self-Governing Region Tibor Mikus.
Trnava park is Slovakia´s pilot project for attracting research and development investment, construction and prototype solutions and its aim is to raise the competitiveness and investment potential of Trnava region.
SARIO CEO and the City of Trnava also signed the “Agreement on the mutual cooperation in attracting important foreign investment for its positioning in the City Industrial and Technological Park in Trnava.”
Construction of the park will include 2758 sq m of production pavilion, technology pavilion, storage pavilion and production cells pavilion. It should offer opportunities for small and medium sized enterprises to create jobs for people with higher education. About 450 mostly highly qualified workers would find employment in the park once it has opened. Total realization project costs will be over 10.4 million EUR. SARIO provided 9.6 million EUR based on the Operational Program Competitiveness and Economic Growth. The construction work should be finished by September 2011 and the park is planned to start its activities in January 2012.
