Location SARIO On Tuesday, November 29, 2011 a First Investment Seminar on Slovakia took place in the State of Israel. Aim of the event was to strengthen cooperation between Israel and the Slovak Republic in the field of potential investments and to introduce the Slovak business environment and its possibilities. Robert Simoncic, CEO of SARIO presented Slovakia and the project Business Friendly Slovakia, emphasizing the stable investment environment and investment opportunities in the country. Slovakia was also introduced as an investment destination from an advisory perspective by White & Case, member of the association ISA. Within the event, two success stories of existing Israeli investors in Slovakia (Ness Technologies and Ceragon Networks) presented their experience in doing business in Slovakia. The seminar was attended by more than 50 participants representing numerous companies from various industrial fields. Participants were mostly interested in the economic performance of Slovakia, main industrial sectors, business possibilities and incentives by the state and municipality. The event was co-organized by SARIO’s local partner Barbara Mestanova, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Tel Aviv and the Israeli-Slovak Chamber of Commerce in Israel.
