Kazakhs are interested in cooperation with SARIO agency

Project Manager of the Department of Strategy and Strategic projects Alexander Skurla presented to local organizations and business subjects current potential of Slovak economy, prospects of mutual relations development as well as the interest of Slovak companies in cooperation in this territory.

 

The representatives of Kaznex Invest, the state agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for support of investment and export expressed their interest in closer cooperation with SARIO agency especially in information exchange and organization of joint events. In the same time they provided information on six free economic zones in Kazakhstan that have special business conditions.

 

The negotiations with OBEO from Alma Ata and with business associations and unions of Kazakhstan informed on the development and needs of Kazakh economy. From 1st of July 2010 Kazakhstan is the member of Customs Union with the Russian Federation and Belarus, customs processes and checks in doing business between these countries have been canceled although still it is necessary to comply with sanitary and hygiene standards and regulations.

 

There is also perspective in the field of education. The representative of SARIO visited the University in Alma Ata which would like to develop international cooperation.

 

In first seven months of 2010 Slovak export to Kazakhstan reached 16, 5 mil EUR, which is by 2.5% more than in the same period of last year.
