Matchmaking companies in gaming industry with universities

Close cooperation of universities and companies is key to the qualitative development of the economy, the education of highly qualified professionals, and the stimulation of innovation. SARIO seeks to build, facilitate, and deepen this cooperation in various ways.

The last example of this cooperation was the successful matchmaking of innovative companies from the rapidly developing gaming industry with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Žilina, and the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Companies and faculties talked about various possibilities of cooperation, including internships for students, solving assignments from practice, and possibilities of lecturing by company directors at universities. They also discussed what skills graduates should acquire during their studies in order to successfully enter the labor market so that the heads of study programs can adjust the content accordingly.

Regarding the support of cooperation between companies and universities, SARIO is currently launching the 3rd year of the project Practice for universities, solutions for companies, in which companies that are interested in cooperation with universities can still apply until December 10th.
