National stand at China CEEC Expo 2025 in Ningbo

Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency within the framework of the National Project - Support for Internationalisation of SMEs 2 organised a national stand at the China CEEC Expo in Ningbo, PRC. The fair was held from 22 to 25 May 2025.

 

A total of 44 Slovak companies were represented at the event, divided into 2 separate exhibition areas (robotics - aerospace and national stand). The national stand featured 26 companies from various sectors, which perfectly reflected the wide range of opportunities that the Chinese market offers in terms of cooperation. 

 

 

Within the framework of NP SARIO, 9 SMEs participated in the event: A.N.J. distribution, CASTE, CTP Invest, Ipelské tehelne, J. VINCE, Spirit company, SUN powered systems, Training & Consulting, Zizak.

 

The Slovak national stand was also visited by Shen Yiqin, State Counsellor of the PRC, to whom SARIO representatives introduced the participating Slovak companies as well as the potential of our country in the field of trade and investment. The visit was rounded off by the folklore ensemble Šarišan, which introduced Slovak culture to visitors.

 

 

In the afternoon, on the first day of the fair, the opening ceremony of the pavilion took place with the participation of distinguished guests from Slovakia and China. In his speech, the President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Richard Raši, emphasised the importance of international cooperation and praised the quality, innovativeness and skill of Slovak companies, which help to build a strong name for Slovakia abroad. On behalf of the Chinese side, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ningbo Municipal People's Congress, confirmed his interest in deepening partnerships with Slovakia and appreciated the high interest of Slovak companies in the Chinese market.


The programme also included the awarding of "Win-Win" prizes, which recognise outstanding cooperation within the framework of the fair. SARIO received this important award during the CEEC Procurement and Signing Ceremony, with Gabriel Gottgeisl, Director of the National Project Department, accepting the award.


The event provided companies with a number of opportunities to learn about the realities of the Chinese market, meet potential partners as well as competitors within individual segments.
