New CEO of SARIO

On December 3rd 2010 Juraj Miškov, Minister of Economy of the SR appointed Ing. Róbert Šimončič, CSc., to the position of new Chief Executive Officer of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency. He will replace Ing. Andrea Gulová, whose assignment of SARIO CEO ended on December 6th, 2010.

 

Róbert Šimončič, 53, graduated from the Slovak Technology University, Department of Informatics where he also received his academic title. After his studies he worked in the Institute of Computer Technology. Since 1988 he worked in IT sector in the U. S. and from 1994 he started to work in management and business consulting. He was worked for companies PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM. From 2001 until 2008 he served as the CEO of Microsoft Slovakia. In 2008 he became the Microsoft Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe. From June till August 2010 he was Assigned Chief Executive Officer of SARIO.
