Location Bratislava A series of successful meetings organized by the Agency for Investment and Trade Development ProMéxico in Central and Eastern Europe continued by the Bilateral Business summit in Bratislava on June 22nd to 24th September 2013, which was organized in partnership with the Slovak Investment and Trade Development (SARIO). Summit was conceived in the form of platform, providing companies the opportunity to expand their international capacity and build a network leading to success in the international market. Summit was attended by 331 participants from 221 organizations which jointly engaged in 532 bilateral meetings. Slovakia was represented by 30 companies. One of the most exciting opportunities for Slovak companies is liberalization of Mexican petrochemical industry, offering opportunities to obtain contracts in related infrastructure projects. The event was opened by Robert Šimončič, SARIO CEO, with the participation Vaclav Mika, the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Slovakia. Forum was designed primarily for manufacturing companies, and particularly small and medium-sized companies can take advantage of the opportunity to exchange experiences with larger sector players.
