The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) actively participated in the international Expo Advanced Factories 2020, which took place on 3 - 5 March 2020 in Barcelona with more than 360 companies active in the fields of Industrial Automation, Robotics and Industry 4.0. The accompanying event was the Industry 4.0 Congress with a number of panel discussions attended by guests from Spain and other countries.Oto Pisoň, Deputy Director of Investment Projects Department and SARIO Innovation Manager participated in one of the panel discussions, entitled Digital & Social Challenges of European Industrial States, giving a presentation on the specifics of the Slovak industry with regard to automation and Industry 4.0. The topic of his presentation included also the presentation of SARIO Innovation Services, a unique SARIO platform for interconnecting Slovak innovative companies with large, especially industrial, players in Slovakia and abroad.SARIO was the only Slovak participant in Expo Advanced Factories 2020, but representatives of the SARIO Investment Projects Department met with representatives of several exhibiting companies, discussing the possibilities of their current or potential presence in Slovakia and presenting the above-mentioned platform of SARIO Innovation Services.
