Location Bratislava At the end of September 2012 SARIO agency presented itself to the participants of the international conference "Shared Services Centers 2012" in Barcelona. The top managers of Shared Service Centers (SSC) of 35 multinational companies (eg. Siemens, Coca-Cola, DHL, Novartis, Siemens, Shell, etc.) participated as speakers or guests of the conference. The conference topics were particularly focused on successful case studies of companies which used for their effective functioning SSC for services such as accounting, human resources management, payroll, IT, purchasing, and so on. As in the case of SSC we speak about services with high added value that provide employment to qualified experts, Slovakia is especially interested to present itself to this target group of companies as a suitable destination for possible expansion or relocation. SARIO therefore seized this unique opportunity and Andrea Gulová, Foreign Investment Section Director addressed the audience with her presentation of " Slovakia - an ideal location for your SSC“. She introduced business environment in Slovakia, the main advantages of our country for the location of SSC and on specific examples presented success stories of companies that already have established their SSC centers in Slovakia. After the conference, participants evaluated each presentation and SARIO received extremely positive feedback. Before the conference showed eight participating companies interested in meeting individually with our agency to get more information on the current status of SSC sector in Slovakia and its potential for further development. In addition to valuable contacts, agency was able to identify companies currently considering expansion and looking for new locations. SARIO will provide these companies with tailor-made services and necessary service in order to for Slovakia to compete for further investment in the sector SSC.
