Location Paris, France On 3 December 2013 the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) and the Embassy of Slovak Republic in Paris promoted Slovak investment environment and SARIO services during the CEE expert meeting of French Chambers of Commerce in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of France CCI France in Paris. The initiative of SARIO and the Embassy of the SR in Paris followed historically the first visit of the President of the French Republic in Slovakia - President François Hollande visited Slovkakia on 29 October 2013 and the Action Plan of Strategic Partnership for 2013 – 2013 was signed. SARIO was given a privileged opportunity among the CEE countries to promote Slovakia and SARIO services directly to the CEE experts of the most powerful chambers in France with strong membership base. The CEE experts evaluated the presentation promoted by Marcela Torokova, Head of Business Development Department, as valuable and SARIO services useful for their work activities in France. Regional chambers in France are one of the channels SARIO uses in order to search for and acquire new investors for Slovakia. The CEE expert meeting is organized twice a year and preliminary Slovakia is the venue of next meeting in 2014. SARIO will have opportunity to strengthen the newly built relationships with respective CEE experts in cooperation with the French – Slovak Chamber of Commerce. France is one of the most important investing countries in Slovakia: over 400 French companies have invested approx. 5 milliards of EUR and created 50 thousands job positions in various sectors.
